Former top Danish League player and served for the Danish National teams at youth and senior levels. UEFA and FIFA instructor. He has been and still consultant for a number of top teams in Europe, amongst them: Juventus (1999 -2001) with Carlo Ancelotti and assistant coach for the World Cup winning coach Marcello Lippi (2001-2004) who won two Italian Championships, two Super Cups and reached the final stage of the Champions League in 2003. He took part in coaching the Danish National team for EURO 2004 and World Cup 2010. Together with Paul Wisper, they developed the Nike Bootcamp ( www.nike.com) and the Nike Ignite programme with some of their top-class players (www.nike.com/nikeos/p/nikefootball/en_AU/ignite). He has written more than 200 scientific manuscript and 15 books; the most recent being “Aerobic and Anaerobic Training in Soccer “ (with special emphasis on training of youth players). His ability to combine scientific knowledge with years of experience on the soccer field is widely respected all over the world.
